At The Body Mystic, your privacy is treated with care and discretion. This Privacy Policy explains how personal information may be collected, used, and protected through our website, booking process, and studio services.

1. Information We Collect

Information collected may include your name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, appointment information, and information you voluntarily provide through contact, booking, consultation, or intake forms.

Because certain services require screening for suitability, you may also be asked to provide relevant health information, including medications, allergies, medical history, contraindications, or other information necessary to determine whether a service is appropriate for you.

Payment information is processed through third-party payment and booking providers. The Body Mystic does not independently store complete credit-card information.

2. How Information Is Used

Information may be used to manage appointments; communicate with you regarding services, consultations, purchases, or studio matters; evaluate service suitability; personalize your care; maintain appropriate business records; and, where you have opted in, provide occasional studio or Elowen Botanics updates.

Personal information is not sold or rented to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

The Body Mystic uses third-party service providers to support website hosting, scheduling, payment processing, client communication, and related business functions. Information provided through those services may also be subject to the privacy practices and terms of the respective provider.

4. Confidentiality & Data Security

Reasonable administrative and digital safeguards are used to protect personal information. Information provided through consultation and intake documentation is treated confidentially and accessed only as reasonably necessary to provide services and operate the practice.

5. Cookies & Website Analytics

This website may use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, and understanding website traffic. Your browser and applicable website privacy controls may allow you to manage certain cookie preferences.

CLIENT SERVICE AGREEMENT, TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Appointments, Cancellations & Late Arrivals

A minimum of 24 hours' notice is requested for cancellations or appointment changes. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee up to the full value of the scheduled service, consistent with the cancellation policy presented at booking.

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to respect the appointments that follow. The full scheduled service fee may still apply.

2. Consultations & Service Suitability

Not every service is appropriate for every client. Certain body remodeling services, treatment series, and protocols require consultation or screening before treatment or purchase.

The Body Mystic reserves the right to modify, postpone, or decline a service when a contraindication is present or when, in the practitioner's professional judgment, a requested service is not appropriate.

Multi-session series are customized and finalized following an in-person assessment and are not available for direct online purchase.

3. Scope of Services

Services offered by The Body Mystic may include non-invasive body remodeling, radiofrequency treatments, ultrasonic cavitation, vacuum therapy, lymphatic and manual bodywork techniques, restorative body rituals, and other non-medical wellness and aesthetic services within the practitioner's scope of practice.

Services are intended for cosmetic, wellness, relaxation, and body-care purposes. They are not medical care and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease or replace evaluation or treatment by a licensed medical provider.

4. Professional Conduct

The Body Mystic maintains a professional and respectful treatment environment. Sexual, threatening, discriminatory, abusive, suggestive, or otherwise inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of the session and may result in refusal of future service. Payment obligations for the scheduled appointment may still apply.

5. Client Health & Safety Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for accurately disclosing relevant health conditions, medical procedures, medications, allergies, implanted devices, pregnancy status, and other information requested during consultation or intake.

Please inform your practitioner of any changes in your health or medications before treatment and immediately communicate unusual discomfort or other concerns experienced during a session.

Recommendations regarding hydration, movement, treatment spacing, and other pre- or post-session care should be followed when applicable.

INFORMED CONSENT & SERVICE DISCLOSURES

Manual Bodywork & Lymphatic Services

Manual services may incorporate restorative touch, lymphatic techniques, Madero therapy, cupping, or other hands-on methods appropriate to the selected session.

These services are provided for wellness, relaxation, aesthetic body care, and general comfort and are not a substitute for medical evaluation, diagnosis, physical therapy, or other medical treatment.

Techniques and pressure may be modified based upon your comfort, goals, presentation, and any disclosed contraindications.

Body Remodeling & Technology-Based Services

Non-invasive body remodeling services may incorporate modalities such as ultrasonic cavitation, radiofrequency, vacuum therapy, and complementary manual techniques.

These services are intended to support cosmetic goals such as the appearance of body contour, skin texture, firmness, and fluid-related puffiness. They are not weight-loss treatments and do not replace nutrition, physical activity, medical care, or medically supervised weight-management treatment.

Results vary from person to person. No specific outcome, degree of change, or duration of results can be guaranteed. A series of sessions and appropriate home care may be recommended depending upon individual goals and response.

Certain conditions may make a particular modality inappropriate. Contraindications vary by service and may include pregnancy, implanted electrical devices, certain metallic implants in the treatment area, active illness or infection, and particular cardiovascular, liver, kidney, circulatory, or other medical conditions. Additional contraindications may apply.

When there is uncertainty regarding whether a service is appropriate in light of a medical condition, medication, procedure, or implanted device, medical clearance may be requested before treatment.

Botanical Products & Topical Formulations

Treatments may incorporate botanical oils, clays, minerals, extracts, essential oils, cosmetic actives, or Elowen Botanics formulations.

Clients are responsible for disclosing known allergies and sensitivities before treatment. Botanical or naturally derived ingredients can cause sensitivity or allergic response in some individuals. Please notify your practitioner immediately if irritation or discomfort occurs.

Ingredient information is available for Elowen Botanics formulations upon request and through applicable product information.

Acknowledgment

By booking and receiving services from The Body Mystic, you acknowledge that you are responsible for providing accurate information relevant to your care, understand that results vary, and understand that non-medical aesthetic and wellness services carry limitations and may not be appropriate for every individual.

Additional consultation, intake, consent, or service-specific documentation may be required before treatment.

The Body Mystic reserves the right to update these policies as services, studio practices, or applicable requirements change.
